The Kingswood & Devoran Hotel is an ideal place for a relaxing retreat, being situated in a prime position overlooking Lyme Bay and the World Heritage coast, at the centre of Sidmouth's renowned Regency esplanade.
The hotel is decorated in keeping with its Victorian origins providing tastefully furnished bedrooms, each with individual style and having the benefit of double glazing. Typically for a building of this era, the layout of rooms varies in style, size and character.
All of the 50 bedrooms are en-suite and equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, telephone, TV and radios. Many have superb sea views and balconies, looking out across this wonderful stretch of the World Heritage coast. Light lunches and refreshments are available, with complimentary morning coffee and afternoon tea also being served daily in the lounge.
Good food is an important part of any holiday and at the Kingswood & Devoran particular emphasis is placed on excellent cooking. Our head chef and his team aim to create delicious seasonal menus making the most of local West Country produce.
